Attendance/Cancellation Policy

For Fall/Winter/Spring Semester.  Each semester will provide the student with 11 Lessons.  This provides the student with 1 built-in Bonus or Make-up Lesson.  If a teacher needs to cancel a lesson for any reason, they will provide an opportunity for a make-up lesson. If a student needs to miss a lesson, the first missed lesson will be made up by using the Bonus Lesson as their make up lesson.  Any additional lessons missed are not guaranteed a make-up but will be provided at the discretion of the teacher and based on their availability. There are NO refunds for missed lessons.

 For students taking Summer Lessons/Drop-In Lessons.  You are able to cancel your lesson up to 48 hours before your lesson time via The Student Portal without being charged and with the ability to reschedule.  Any lessons canceled within the 48-hour window will be charged or, in the case of summer session packages, counted as a missed lesson. Please note that ALL lessons MUST be scheduled during the summer semester. (6/13-8/21). If you are having a hard time finding available spots, you MUST contact Ms. Rebecca by 7/15. If teachers need to cancel for any reason, they will make up the lesson within the summer session.

 HYBRID LESSONS (IN PERSON / VIRTUAL). We offer hybrid lessons.  Most lessons are listed as location unspecified so that we can fit the needs of our students as they register and indicate their preference.  We will update the location to fit the student's preference once they are scheduled.   Some teachers will also have some lessons noted as virtual only, so please take note of that when scheduling. Please note that due to the teacher's travel/performance schedules/quarantine requirements, a lesson may be converted to a virtual lesson.  A student may also choose to make a lesson virtual as long as they contact the teacher by the morning of the lesson.


Payment Policies

Invoices may be paid in FULL at the beginning of the semester or Paid Monthly.

If a balance has not been paid in full by the end of the semester, the student will not be able to register for the next semester until the balance is paid.  All balances that are unpaid by the end of the semester will be charged a 10% late fee per month.

Payments are accepted via cash, check, Venmo, PayPal or Credit Card. Please note that the website charges a slight fee for credit card transactions.

Covid-19 Precautions and Procedures

If you plan on returning to in-person lessons, please read the following carefully!

Please do NOT attend your lesson, if you are feeling symptomatic at all (fever, cough, sore throat, body aches, congestion) OR if you have been exposed to Covid-19.  As an alternate, please contact your teacher and they will provide you with a virtual lesson during your lesson time instead.

All students must wear a mask (all weekly students will receive one from us!)

Upon arrival to the studio, please wait in your car until just before your lesson time.  You may then proceed to the back patio and wait on the plastic chairs (which will be sprayed in between each lesson) until your teacher comes out to get you. The teachers will be the only ones opening and closing the doors.  Families are expected to wait outside or in their cars until the lesson ends.  Students will be escorted back to the patio after their lesson.  If they are minors, please be prompt upon pickup!  To decrease the number of people in and out of the studios, we are asking that if you want to observe your child’s lesson that you do so from the patio. We will keep the curtains open in both studios and when the weather is permitting windows will be open OR we will conduct lessons on the patio!

We will check temperatures upon arrival and have students sanitize their hands before or after the lesson.

While there IS a bathroom on location, we are asking that students ONLY use it in an absolute emergency, so please try to have the student use the facilities BEFORE arrival to help with that.

Disinfecting the bathroom during the lesson will take away from the student’s learning time and we want to make the most of their time in the studio.

Each studio will have an Air Purifier and will be disinfected between students.

Singers will stand behind our plexiglass drum cages to reduce the number of aerosols being spread throughout the room and drum cages will be disinfected in between students.

If there has been any exposure to Covid-19 within the studio, the studio will return to Virtual Lessons ONLY for 2 weeks and all families will be notified.
